My name is Arnar Jónsson and I am a visual effects artist and a guide. I have worked on the creation of Motion Graphics, Visual Effects and Compositing projects in the field of advertising and film since the year 2006, with the occasional graphics and web-design mixed in. Before that I worked as a salesman in speciality stores that taught me a lot about good service that has served me well though my career. I work well and fast under pressure where no discount is given to the quality of the work. I am punctual, I don’t smoke and have a great passion for the outdoors and sports.

I have great passion for experiencing the amazing things mother nature has to offer whether it is from the air, hanging off a mountain or out at sea. I am a certified Iceland Guide with a PCV drivers’ licence and am a NOLS Wilderness First Responder.
I was a member of the Icelandic Rescue teams for a while where I got most of my training. I have guided many tours for various outdoor and business organisations on Icelandic mountains and glaciers since the year 2005. I was also on the board of the Icelandic Alpine Association (ÍSALP) for a couple of years and I´m currently on of the chief editors of the photo blog site climbing.is.
